E

Electronvolt- A unit for measuring the energy and the mass of particles; 1 eV is the energy gained by an electron after it has moved through a potential difference of 1 volt (an eV= 1.6022 × 10 -19 Joules).

Erg- The unit of energy and mechanical work in the centimeter–gram–second system of physical units, that is, one dyne-centimeter (one erg is equal to 10 -7 Joules or to 2.389 × 10 -8 calories).
