Pascal- The SI derived unit of pressure; one pascal (Pa) is equal to 1 newton m2. The kilopascal (kPa) is the preferred unit for atmospheric pressure, but millibar (mb) is the unit of pressure widely used by meteorologists; 1 mb = 1 hPa (hectopascal). For a typical sea level pressure, 102.345 kPa = 1023.45 hPa = 1023.45 mb. Named for Blaise Pascal, French physicist and mathematician.

Pound- A unit of weight measurement, primarily in the U.S. and Canada, equivalent to 16 ounces or 453.59 grams

Pounds per square inch - The common unit of measurement for pressure (at sea level, the Earth's atmosphere exerts 14.7 psi; 1 psi = 6894.7 Pa or 6.894 kPa)

Poiseuille- An MKS unit of dynamic viscosity equal to 1 pascal second. Named for Jean Louis Marie Poiseuille, French Physicist and physiologist, who studied fluid flows in tubes to understand how blood flows in veins.
